This is the second track on the second album by The Shy Reserve (Both), and also the second video made for YouTube from the eight-video series. Shelley added vocals over the top of mine (Randal’s) in an attempt to give it a Neil/Rachel (Slowdive) feel. I’m not sure if it had the desired effect, but it was a fun experiment.
An Easter egg to look out for if you watch the first two videos is that the rainbow that Linus looks at in the sky in Brume is represented as a logo on Leah’s shirt in Fervent. The two characters appear in the same places, wearing complimentary clothing to each other, multiple times over the course of the videos. But, they don’t finally meet each other until the final video (as I alluded to in the Brume notes).
